Keepsake Box

Make a beautiful keepsake box. 

This beginner level class is a great way to develop your woodworking skills and learn to use nearly all of the professional quality equipment in our wood shop. This class is a essential building block if you are looking to advance your skills.
In this class you can expect to learn about: 
• Measuring and marking 
• Operating a joiner and surface planer 
• Using a miter saw, table saw, and band saw
• Making a spline miter joint
• Cutting a rabbet 
• Gluing and clamping  
• Sanding and strategies for finishing 

WHEN: Sunday, July 24th 9am- 2pm
              5 hours total instruction time
COST: $98 ($19 Materials fee, $ 79 Instruction Fee)
CLASS SIZE: Min 4/ 8 Max
Cancellation Policy

MUST REGISTER 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE- This is to allow the instructor appropriate time to allocate necessary materials for class. Please take this into consideration when registering for classes.

CLASS PACE: Classes are designed for students to finish their projects or reach a point where they can comfortably finish them on their own. Everyone works at different paces and not everyone will finish at the same time. It is advised to give yourself an extra hour of time.
